As part of the North Wing construction we will renovate the JT Foyer. Renovations will include replacing the floor and ceiling tiles as well as modifications to the stairwell.
Work is currently ongoing, and we will not be able to honor any booking for its duration.
If you have reserved the use of the JT Amphitheatre and/or Foyer in that time frame, you may want to consider looking for an alternative venue, depending on the nature of your reservation and size of your audience.
Bookings for the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre will be restricted to groups of 25 or less during this time frame due to safety concerns.
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Should you have questions, kindly direct them to Fred Pennell at fred.pennell@mcgill.ca.
Events
If you are organizing a workshop, conference, symposium, lecture or training course and would like to reserve rooms at The Neuro (Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre, its adjacent foyer, the de Grandpre Communications Centre or the Helen Penfield Atrium), you are required to fill in the events proposal form. You will be notified within 5 working days if you may proceed to book the rooms.
New Rules Governing Events and Gatherings at The Neuro
In order to limit potential exposure and spread of COVID-19, The Neuro has adopted additional special measures for gatherings and events within The Neuro complex, including Neuro activities in other buildings such as the Lyman Duff and Ludmer buildings.
Rooms 124, 174A and 188 are reserved exclusively for hospital staff meetings.
Until further notice, in person events and gatherings at The Neuro are cancelled. This applies to all conferences, lectures, rounds, symposia, workshops, congresses, tours, public awareness events etc. with visiting speakers and\or internal speakers, as well as to large group meetings.
Standing room reservations will be held in the system, even though activities are suspended.
The timeline for cancellations and/or postponements will be re-evaluated and communicated as the situation evolves.
